In his career, Brock Purdy, who was once known as "Mr. Irrelevant" in the National Football League, has made significant progress.

Purdy, a college athlete, was named First-Team All-Big 12 twice and was signed with the San Francisco 49ers in 2022.

Initially designated as the 49ers' fourth-string quarterback, he was later designated the 49ers' third-string quarterback due to injuries sustained by Trey Lance and Jimmy Garoppolo.

Purdy led the 49ers to seven consecutive victories and became the first NFL rookie to throw four touchdowns in a postseason match.

Purdy became the starting quarterback for the 49ers after Lance was traded to the Dallas Cowboys and Garappolo signed with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Purdy suffered a tear in the ulnar collateral ligament of his elbow during the NFC Championship game, following a hit while attempting a pass in the first quarter.

Purdy demonstrated exceptional performance in passing and running, leading the 49ers to consecutive comeback victories in both the NFC Divisional and NFC Championship playoff games.
