Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium will play host to a three-match series during which Sri Lanka will compete against Afghanistan.

It was Fazalhaq Faroogi and Naveen-ul-Haq, two pacers, who were responsible for the utter destruction of Sri Lanka's top order order. 

Despite the fact that Ibrahim Zadran led his team to victory with an unbeaten score of 67 runs from 55 balls, they were unable to win. 

With regard to bowling, Matheesha Pathirana was the most impressive performer for the squad that was playing at home. 

In the final over, Afghanistan needed 11 runs to win, but Binura Fernando only allowed six runs to be scored, ensuring that Afghanistan would win.
