The Puri Heritage Corridor Project, also known as the temple heritage corridor project, is set to inaugurate on January 17th.

The project will commence with rituals such as 'Maha Yagna', 'Ankuropan', 'Ankur Puja', and 'Yajna Adhibas'.

A perpetual lamp, known as a 'Akhand Deepa', will be positioned at the location for the three-day religious ritual.

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will officially declare the corridor accessible to devotees on January 17th.

A podium is under construction at Utterparswa Mutt for the Chief Minister's speech and cultural ensemble presentations.

The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has invited representatives from 90 religious shrines and institutions nationwide to participate.

A comprehensive security system of five layers has been implemented in Puri to accommodate the expected 500,000 devotees.

From January 12 to 16, the town will be under the protection of over 44 police platoons, following similar security measures during the Rath Yatra.
