The visit of Prime Minister Modi ushers in a new era in the history of bilateral relations between India and the United Arab Emirates. 

He will meet with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to enhance strategic alliance and share perspectives on regional and global issues. 

Within the span of eight months, this visit is the fifth time that Modi has met with the President of the United Arab Emirates. 

Modi will also attend the World Government Summit 2024 in Dubai and officially open the 'Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha' (BAPS) Mandir. 

The visit marks Modi's seventh visit to the UAE since 2015, marking his third in the past eight months. 

Since 2015, India and the UAE have had a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, with bilateral trade reaching 85 billion dollars in 2022–23.  

Modi will also travel to Doha, Qatar, where he will meet with the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad.
