India won the toss and elected to field first in the 2nd T20I match between India and Afghanistan.

Captain Rohit Sharma confirmed Virat Kohli's first T20I appearance after a year's hiatus.

India has taken a 1-0 lead against Afghanistan in the T20I series, and they aim to secure a win in the second game in Indore on Sunday.

Virat Kohli will return to the playing XI, while Yashasvi Jaiswal is expected to make the team sheet.

Tilak Varma and Shubman Gill are likely to be benched. Shivam Dube will be relied upon after his fifty in Mohali, while Afghanistan's ace spinner Rashid Khan has been ruled out.

Afghanistan successfully batted past 170 in the final innings, thanks to Arshdeep's impressive performance and Jaiswal's race to break the stumps.

Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal lead Afghanistan in a huddle, with Fazalhaq Farooqi bowling the first over. Afghanistan scored 63 runs in the last five overs.

Rohit's fifth-ball strike brings cheers, but the ground falls silent as he swings and misses, resulting in a golden duck, a rare feat in cricket.
