Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event on January 17 will showcase the capabilities of generative AI on smartphones.

The event will focus on software advancements, particularly Samsung's new artificial intelligence (AI) initiatives.

Galaxy AI, described as a "comprehensive mobile AI experience," is expected to provide advanced functionality in communication, productivity, and creativity.

The Galaxy S24 series is expected to feature advanced silicon, such as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip and Samsung's Exynos 2400 chip, which offer significant AI processing power.

Qualcomm's AI capabilities on smartphones and Samsung's claims about the Exynos 2400's text-to-image conversion suggest that generative AI could become a prominent feature in Galaxy devices.

Samsung is considering integrating user-friendly generative AI directly into the cameras, messaging, and other applications of the Galaxy S24.

The upcoming Galaxy S24 series will consist of three models: the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Samsung is also set to introduce its premier Galaxy S24 series in India on January 17th.
