At the beginning of the third day of tennis competition, the second round of the Dubai Tennis Championships will receive its start. 

Three seeds were eliminated in the initial round, including Beatriz Haddad Maia, Ekaterina Alexandrova, and Caroline Garcia. 

As a result of a knee injury, Ons Jabeur, who was ranked fifth, made the decision to withdraw from the competition entirely.  

In the competition that took place over the past two days, Jelena Ostapenko, Karolina Pliskova, and Leylah Fernandez emerged victorious.  

Maria Sakkari, a Greek tennis champion, beat Emma Navarro in the second round of the Dubai Open, re-entering the top-10 of the world rankings 

The eighth seed will now compete against Italy's Jasmine Paolini, who won her previous match decisively in two sets. 

Sakkari's victory in Dubai indicates a powerful return and cements her status among the top players in the tennis industry. 

It has been reported by Dubai Eye 103.8 that Sakkari came out on top against Navarro in Dubai by winning both of their matches in straight sets.
