Canadian actor Chris Gauthier, known for his roles in "Once Upon a Time," "Smallville," and "Eureka," passed away at 48.

His death was confirmed by TriStar Appearances, who expressed their deep sadness upon hearing of his passing. 

Gauthier was known for his strong performances in various productions, including "Smallville," "Supernatural," and "Once Upon a Time." 

He also appeared in TV shows such as "Harper’s Island," "Sanctuary," "A Series of Unfortunate Events," "Legends of Tomorrow," "Charmed," and "Joe Pickett." 

Gauthier also appeared in films like "40 Days and 40 Nights," "Agent Cody Banks," and "Freddy vs. Jason." 

His friend Corrine Wright, a friend of Gauthier, noted his collaborations with renowned actors like Anthony Hopkins and Robin Williams. 

Colin O'Donoghue, known for his role as Hook in "Once Upon a Time," expressed his condolences on Instagram.
