Rendon, Arizona Angels third baseman, maintains a professional attitude towards baseball, prioritizing other aspects of his life.

Prior to the opening of the 2020 season, Rendon agreed to a seven-year contract with a total value of $245 million.

Being a Major League Baseball superstar with a contract worth $245 million has never been a top priority for me.

Rendon's viewpoint has shifted in a different direction ever since he got married in 2017 and welcomed four children into the world.

Rendon does not intend to retire, aiming to maintain good health for the first time since the 2020 season.

Manager Ron Washington acknowledges Rendon's perspective and emphasizes his successful career, including four postseason appearances and leading the Nationals to a World Series victory in 2019.

Rendon has reestablished a good relationship with Bo Porter, the first-base coach, who has been a guide for him for a very long time.

In an effort to improve his strength during the current season, Rendon has modified a few of his off-season routines.
