17 US universities are set to visit 26 Indian institutes from February 25th to March 2nd for partnerships.

A group of 17 US universities will embark on a trip to India to visit 26 educational institutions in the country. The purpose of these visits is to establish collaborative relationships and increase the mobility of students and scholars between India and the US. This visit is significant because of recent attacks against Indian students and people of Indian origin.

In the past few years, collaboration between the governments of the US and India has been driving developments that have proven advantageous for both parties involved. The delegation’s visit will take place from February 25th to March 2nd and will build upon the progress made over the past few years. During state visits, the President and Prime Minister of both countries reaffirmed the Comprehensive Global and Strategic Partnership between the US and India.

The delegation’s goal is to investigate the possibility of addressing the demand for education in India through collaborations and partnerships to make it easier for students and scholars to move in various directions. The Indian government announced that they will have the opportunity to meet with 26 Indian institutions to discuss collaboration, mobility of students and scholars between their two countries, and securing and fostering enduring partnerships between institutions.

Indians have created a safe community for US students

The US is actively working to strengthen communities responsible for providing safety for international students, despite the presence of unscrupulous actors in the industry.

Educational institutions in the US are focusing on establishing safe and welcoming communities for all students, regardless of their nationality. They aim to provide mental health resources and support to ensure all students have access to the necessary support.

Additionally, the application process for visas is being made more transparent, simplifying it for students studying abroad. Through increased collaboration and dialogue, both nations are working towards increased academic mobility, increased cultural exchange, and strengthened ties in higher education. The goal is to ensure that all students have a positive experience on their educational journey.
